Ex-high school staff member admits to having sexual relationship with student
A former staff member at a local high school has admitted to having sexual intercourse with a student.

Justin Travis pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault, two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and one count of grooming, according to documents filed Tuesday in Darke County Common Pleas Court.

Two additional charges of sexual assault and two charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
As previously reported News Center 7The Greenville Police Department was notified of an alleged inappropriate relationship between Greenville High School staff and a 15-year-old student in September.
The staff member, identified as Travis, had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old student on multiple occasions.
Following initial investigation, Travis is arrested and charged with sexual assault.
Travis resigned from his position with Greenville City Schools on September 5, 2025.
At the time of this writing, no sentencing date was listed in court records.
