Delhi government hikes cash awards for Olympic winners, approves free laptop scheme for students

The Delhi government said on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, received cash awards for the Olympic and Paralympic medals from the national capital.
Mr. Sood also announced the approval of the Mukhymantri digital plan to provide free laptops to esteemed students.
The decisions were taken during a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Rekha Gupta at the Delhi secretary in the new Delhi.
“Today, under the leadership of CM Rekha Gupta, a cabinet meeting was held. Delhi’s development, various important decisions were taken for students and young people.”
“Historical decisions have been taken under the Yojana of Mukhymantri Khel Prothsahan. La 3 Crore, La 2 Crore and La 1 Crore, Olympic Gold Medalists, He Crore, Silver Medals, Silver Medals, Silver Medals and Bronlas will be given to the Olympic and Paralympic Medal winners.
Mr. Sood announced that group A jobs will be given to gold and silver medals and that the Bronze medals will be given in Group B jobs in the Delhi government.
Mr Sood, Under the Mukhymantri digital plan, announced that students will provide free laptops to students to ensure the holistic development of young people.
Authorized, “Class 10 with good grades of 1,200 valuable students will be given an i7 laptop. This will benefit students from inadequate pasts.”
