Chelsea: Joao Pedro could be the striker Blues crave

Joao Pedro recorded 26 touch of the ball against Fluminense. Only Jackson, who started the Club World Cup from all Chelsea, has achieved a lot of touch in a match.
But not all of the touches of Brazil did not take place in half of the opposition – far from him.
He joined the field in the quarterfinals of Tuesday and entered half of his seven touches.
“What’s good about Joao, we’ve already knew how good it was,” Maresca said after the match, at the same time, former Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi said he spoke before signing him.
“Today he played deeply, but we know he fell deep and can tie the game. So we decided to bring him.”
In contrast, Delap touched the ball to Chelsea’s last group against Tunisia twice in his own half, while Jackson’s touches against Palmeiras took place only in half of Blues’ field.
Joao Pedro also had more impact on large areas, and regularly appeared on both wings regularly to impress Chelsea’s accumulation game.
Meanwhile, the majority of the touches of Delap and Jackson were in the central areas in the last third of the field.
“Each team has a different style to play: Delap has a style, Jackson has another, and I have a way.” He said.
“I think who brings better things to the team will play.”
Upon this evidence, Joao Pedro has the chance to beat both Delap and Jackson on the start of Sunday’s show.
