Hugo, arrow. (AP) – The organization said on Sunday that an animal processor was killed by a tiger in a protection area for large cats in Southeast Oklahoma.
Growler Pines Tiger Preferve said in a statement that Ryan Easley died on Saturday that he died in an accident that contains a tiger that was not far from the Texas border on the property near Hugo.
“This tragedy is a painful reminder of the beauty of the natural world and the unpredictability,” he said. “Ryan, these risks – not from recklessness, not from love. The animals under care were not only animals for him, but also made a connection – one of them rooted in respect, daily care and love.”
