Police investigate crashes in Baldivis and Edgewater
Residents of a house in Baldivis received a rude awakening when a car plowed into their house and stopped in the living room in the middle of the night.
Emergency services were called to the home on Poorinda Lane at around 1.40am on Sunday after a white Toyota Camry sedan crashed into the property.

Footage from the scene shows the car completely inside the house and standing on a pile of rubble.
Despite what WA Police described as “significant structural damage” to the home, residents walked away uninjured while the 27-year-old driver of the sedan was taken to Rockingham Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Police are still investigating the crash and have appealed for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.

Police investigating Edgewater crash that sent child to hospital
Meanwhile, police are investigating a crash on Saturday that sent an eight-year-old boy to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash happened around 4.45pm on Joondalup Drive in Edgewater; A Toyota Hilux traveling northbound on the road struck a white Toyota Corolla sedan waiting to exit George Gray Place.
The 31-year-old driver of the Corolla was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, while the eight-year-old driver, who was a passenger in the Hilux, was taken to Joondalup Health Campus.
The 47-year-old man driving the Hilux was not injured.
