exports growth beats estimates as imports recover

China’s export growth sharply defeated market expectations in July, because while pointing to a tariff ceasefire with the United States, imports made the highest leap in a year.
Exports rose by 7.2% in July.
Import increased by 4.1% A year ago last month, this year’s first growth in June accelerated 1.1% rebound. According to the Reuters survey, economists estimated that imports would drop by 1.0%.
