San Diego officials raise alarms over increase in e-bike, e-motorcycle crashes involving kids

San DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI)-Local law enforcement officers, increasing number of children on high-speed e-bikes and even the city streets of electrical motorcycles and increase serious safety concerns, he says.

At a joint press conference on Monday morning, San Diego police announced a regional pressure to raise awareness about the risks of San Diego Police, Sheriff Department, California highway patrol and several city leaders.

Authorities, 82 e-bike accidents reported in San Diego district last year-78 of these incidents resulted in injuries. The police say most of them contain children between 11 and 17 years old.
