Family Guy 2025 holiday special trailer released, premiering on Hulu as a festive treat ahead of Season 24 in 2026

The trailer stays true to Family Guy’s signature satirical style, hinting at the comedic dynamics of the town and interesting interactions with the townsfolk.
The upcoming special makes a nod to Family Guy’s familiar holiday movie tropes. In the story, Lois Griffin, who works for “Big Pie”, travels to a small town to steal Peter’s prized family’s secret pie recipe. Adding a musical flavor to the episode, country singer Lainey Wilson makes a guest appearance in the opening scene, performing an original holiday song.
The star-studded cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis and Arif Zahir. As always, MacFarlane voices many characters, including Peter, Stewie, Brian and Quagmire, while Borstein voices Lois Griffin.
Family Guy continues to entertain its die-hard fans with its sharp humor, parodies, and orchestral-backed original music. The series has achieved cult status since its debut in 1999, particularly thanks to its talking doll star Stewie Griffin, who has become one of television’s most iconic characters. Over the years, the series has won numerous awards, including an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series, becoming only the second animated series in history to receive this honor. Hulu’s holiday specials have become a seasonal treat for fans. Last year’s episodes were considered “bonus episodes” by many, but this year’s Christmas special is being positioned as a true holiday event. Following the success of the Halloween special, the new Christmas episode promises a more immersive holiday experience.
Looking ahead, Season 24 of Family Guy will return in 2026. The series will be renewed for another four seasons, providing fans with more content in the coming years. But for now, fans can prepare for the first look at Family Guy’s 2025 Christmas special, which premieres November 28 on Hulu and Disney+.
