PORTLAND, ore. (KOIN) — A serial robbery suspect was arrested Saturday after more than a half-dozen robberies around Portland, authorities said.
Portland police said there were robberies at five “tavern-type” businesses in north and east Portland between Sept. 16 and Oct. 6.
Early Saturday morning, police executed a search warrant at a home on Southwest Canyon Court, where 32-year-old Demetrius E. Hillman was taken into custody.

In all, investigators said they believe Hillman is connected to more than a half-dozen robberies dating back to early September.
Currently, Hillman faces 15 charges related to robbery and theft, but police said more charges may be added following further investigation.
Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to contact Portland police.
