Family tribute to ‘bright young star’ after woman, 23, found dead – as man charged with murder

“She was a beautiful, loving and caring daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was compassionate towards others and saw the good in everyone.
“He had a big heart and he wore it on his sleeve.
“After completing both a diploma and a master’s degree in clinical psychology, her ambition to become a psychologist progressed further, and after gaining experience, she was about to apply for a doctorate in clinical psychology.
“Our bright young star’s future has been taken away from her, and while we may not understand what happened, she will be with us forever.”
Detective Inspector Stuart Barson, the investigation’s senior investigating officer, said specially trained officers were providing support to Steph’s family and friends who asked for privacy.
