Fans praise Nina Dobrev’s Paris vacation swimsuit photo after recent split

Nina Dobrev is giving fans a sneak peek of her latest vacation.
In an Instagram post, the 36-year-old “Vampire Diaries” star shared photos from her trip to Paris for fashion week, where she took in photos with famous friends, including Sophia Bush, taking in the sights and all the food she ate in the City of Lights.
“Not the main event, but the magic in between 💫,” she captioned the post.
In one of the photos, Dobrev is seen in a black one-piece swimsuit. In the photo, the actress flashes a peace sign at the camera while sitting in what appears to be a sauna with her hair wrapped in a white towel.

Fans flooded the comments section with positive messages for the star, with one fan writing: “You look better without it.”

“Right after the breakup, she brightened up and started living,” another fan wrote.
Another added: “I don’t know how all these guys can’t fuck you, you’re amazing.”
A third fan compared Dobrev’s post-breakup Paris adventures to the Season 3 plot of the Amazon Prime show “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”

Dobrev announced her engagement to Olympic gold medalist skier Shaun White on Instagram in October 2024. But nearly a year later, sources confirmed that in September 2025, the couple called off their engagement and went their separate ways.

“This was a mutual decision and not an easy one, but it was made out of love and deep respect for each other,” the source told People.
It’s unclear when the couple started dating, but after meeting in late 2019, rumors of their relationship started swirling in March 2020. They eventually made their romance Instagram official in May 2020, with Dobrev posting a photo of herself cutting White’s hair.

Two years later, they made their red carpet debut at the “Top Gun: Maverick” premiere in May 2022.
Before calling off the engagement, Dobrev told E! News that the duo was in no rush to plan their wedding and said they wanted to enjoy that period of their lives.

“We’re enjoying being engaged at this point and being in this kind of phase because so much of your life is having a boyfriend for half your life and then having a husband for half your life, but your engagement period is so short,” she said. “I really want to enjoy this and not rush this process.”
