Fans share whether Meghan and Harry should spend Christmas in the UK | Royal | News

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been urged by royal fans to stay in the US for Christmas. The couple had not spent Christmas with the royal family since 2018, the year before their son was born.

The couple celebrated Prince Archie’s first Christmas in 2019 in Canada with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. Since then, they have spent Christmas in California every year since 2020.

The survey, conducted by the Express between 9.30am on 21 December and 12.30pm on 23 December, asked royal fans whether they would like to see the couple change their plans and travel to the UK this year.

Of the 6,458 people who voted, 6,186 shared that the family should remain in California.

Unlike those who did not want the royal family and the Sussexes to reunite, 219 people voted to see Meghan and Harry with the royal family for Christmas.

A further 53 people voted that they were unsure what the Sussexes should do this year.

In the comments section, one royal fan wrote: “NO NO AND NO.”

Another wrote: “They could stay in California forever. They never need to come back to the UK. I mean, it’s not safe here… and stomping their feet won’t give them the security they want. They’re unimportant to the UK.” [Royal Family]”

A third added: “Absolutely NO. They bring trouble wherever they go. We have enough problems without these two running around.”

Meghan and Harry are said to be preparing to spend Christmas Day with six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet at their home in Montecito. It was also reported that the couple celebrated the New Year by having a holiday with their friends.
