FBI arrests suspect in Jan. 6 pipe bomb case: MS NOW

The FBI arrested a suspect Thursday morning who is believed to have planted pipe bombs outside the Republican and Democratic Party headquarters ahead of the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, MS NOW reported.
The arrest was a major breakthrough in the five-year investigation into who planted the bombs that failed to explode.
The suspect was accused of planting the bombs by the parties’ headquarters in Washington, D.C., four people with knowledge of the development told MS NOW.
The FBI did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.
