Trump’s ex-lawyer replaced as federal prosecutor by judges

A group of US judges voted to replace New Jersey’s best Federal Prosecutor’s election due to the legal qualities of President Donald Trump and his concerns about the opposition from the democrats in the state.

Alina Habba served as Trump’s personal lawyer before being elected for the role in March and defended him in various legal cases. As a prosecutor in criminal law, he has no experience before.

The decision comes just before the end of the temporary period. Trump officially nominated to take office, but the Democrats in the Senate blocked the way of approval.

According to experts, it is rare that judges refuse to continue the role of a temporary prosecutor.

Instead, the judges chose the career prosecutor Desiree Leigh Grace to play the role. No reason was given to the decision.

Habba has led to controversy in three months since he took office in March.

During his term of office, he accused an attack against a democratic congress member and filed an investigation against the Democratic Governor and the Chief Public Prosecutor of the state.

US Chief Public Prosecutor Todd Blanche said that he received the support of Trump and the Ministry of Justice in his position on Monday and that he was criticized as “political noise”.

17 After the judge’s decision, he went back to X to accuse the judges of pushing the left agenda, not the superiority of law, but the left agenda.

“Judges weaken the confidence in our justice when they act like an activist.”

Exactly when Habba’s duration is over, it is the issue of some turmoil. On March 24, Trump is called “immediately enacted”, which means that the 120 -day period will end. However, four days later, he officially swore at the Oval office ceremony on 28 March.

Both Democrats, New Jersey, both opposed the US candidacy for being a US lawyer and argued that “meaningless and political motivated” continued to prosecute and “meet the standard” for the office.

It is rare that a temporary prosecutor opposes a prosecutor to prevent a temporary prosecutor from being approved by the US Senate.

However, a similar situation played in New York last week, and the judges voted to prevent the remaining a temporary US lawyer from staying.

According to the Ministry of Justice, John Sarcone III left the role, but will remain as a “private lawyer for the prosecutor”.

Carl Tobias, a university professor of law, is unusual for judges to choose the temporary US lawyer, although choosing the first assistant is “often a logical choice”.

Desiree Grace’s “respected in New Jersey Legal World” added.
