FBI investigating after ICE vehicle allegedly rammed in Arizona traffic stop

The FBI is investigating allegations that a vehicle carrying two Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers was struck by a driver in another vehicle during a traffic stop in Arizona Thursday morning, authorities said.
The incident began around 8 a.m. local time when ICE agents attempted to stop a vehicle in the Avondale area. FOX 10 Phoenix.

The FBI opened an investigation after a suspect allegedly crashed into a vehicle carrying two ICE officers during an attempted traffic stop in Avondale, Ariz., on Thursday. (KSAZ)
Authorities allege the driver refused to pull over and instead fled the scene.
It was reported that the suspect then returned to a house with his vehicle and crashed into an IYM vehicle occupied by two police officers.
FBI officials confirmed in their statement that they are conducting an investigation into the incident and will forward their findings to the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona for a charging decision.

“The results will be turned over to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona for a charging decision,” the statement said. The statement was included.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver involved, whether any arrests have been made or whether any injuries have been reported.
The Avondale Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that the case was deferred to the FBI.
In another crash, three federal officers were also injured in San Diego on Thursday when a man who ICE said was in the country illegally crashed his vehicle to avoid arrest, officials said.

A witness, Michael Burreec, told ABC’s San Diego affiliate KGTV He stated that the driver “showed a blatant disregard for human life and the rule of law” and said that is exactly why ICE San Diego continues to pursue, apprehend and remove dangerous illegal aliens who threaten our communities.
