Federal officers shot person in Minneapolis: governor

Governor Tim Walz said that US federal officers shot another person in Minneapolis during the US President Donald Trump administration’s crackdown on immigrants.
Walz, a Democrat, said in his social media post that he was in contact with the White House after the attack.
He called on Trump to end the crackdown in his state.

Minneapolis authorities said they were investigating reports that a man had been shot in south Minneapolis.
“We ask the public to remain calm and avoid the immediate area,” a post by the City of Minneapolis said. it said.
On Friday, thousands of demonstrators protesting the crackdown on immigrants filled the city’s streets in cold weather, calling for federal law enforcement to leave the area.
