Israeli military says first stages of assault on Gaza City have begun

The Israeli Army said that a ground attack planned to capture and occupy the entire city of Gaza started “pre -actions” and has already a grip on its skirts.

A military spokesman said the troops already approved by Defense Minister Israel Katz on Tuesday in Zeitouun and Jabalia regions and prepared the ground for an attack on the security cabin this week.

The mediator Qatar and Egypt are trying to make a cease -fire agreement and offered a new offer for a 60 -day ceasefire and said Hamas accepted on Monday.

Israel has not yet given an official response, but Israel officials insisted on Tuesday that they would no longer accept a partial agreement, and demanded a comprehensive agreement to see that all hostages were released.

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the attack on Hamas on 7 October 2023 against Southern Israel, and about 1,200 people were killed and 251 people were hostage.
