Female doctor found dead in Dollar Tree freezer in Miami

A female doctor was mysteriously found dead and possibly naked in a freezer at a Dollar Tree store in Miami, Florida, on Sunday, according to police and media reports.
The Miami Police Department told Fox News Digital on Monday that an employee at the discount store’s branch in Little Havana reported finding “a deceased female inside the business” during its 8 a.m. opening hours. The woman was identified as 32-year-old Helen Massiell Garay Sanchez.
“The woman was located inside a walk-in freezer/cooler in the store’s warehouse,” said Public Information Officer Michael Vega.
Sanchez was also naked when discovered. CBS News It was reported with reference to police scanners.

“The complainant found a naked woman in the store’s cooler,” officers were heard saying over police scanners.
Authorities added that security footage showed that there was no foul play. The investigation is still ongoing. It also remains unclear why Sanchez entered the restricted warehouse area.
According to the GoFundMe page, Sanchez was an anesthesiologist specializing in congenital heart diseases and was originally from Nicaragua. His friends and family are now working to have his body returned to his hometown, where his two children live.

“Dr. Helen Garay passed away in a tragic accident while abroad,” the GoFundMe page said. “His family’s greatest wish is to bring him back to Nicaragua with his loved ones for a proper burial and final resting place. The family is currently raising money to cover the cost of repatriation, transportation, and funeral services in Nicaragua.”

As of Monday evening, nearly $9,200 had been raised to support the family of the late doctor.
