C.V. Anand assumes charge as Telangana Home Department’s Special Chief Secretary

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, he worked as Special Secretary of the TaLangana Home Department. After that, he met with the chief secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao

Mr. Anand was Haydarabad police commissioner before he was appointed as a special chief secretary. He was his second duty as the President of the City Police. Before that, he served from December 2021 to October 2023. He also served as General Manager of Anti -Corruption Bureau (ACB).

A significant part of his early career was dedicated to serving in the state’s affected areas of Maoist. In 2002, he received the president’s medal of courage and recognized his courage and leadership.
