Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman blasted a sign on “Jesse Watters Primetime” Monday that Democrats have “lost the plot” as the government shutdown nears record time.
“And the other thing that I refuse to do as a Democrat is I will not call you a fascist or a Nazi,” Fetterman told Fox News host Jesse Watters. “I’m not going to compare anyone to Hitler or anything like that. That’s wrong. And if you resort to that thing, you lose the script.”

On Monday, Watters questioned Fetterman’s political status.

“No, no, I would be a terrible Republican,” Fetterman replied. “But I will be a very honest Democrat who is not afraid to oppose some views I disagree with.”

THE SENATE IS BACK TO WORK AFTER THE LONGEST GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN IN US HISTORY DUE TO THE OBAMACARE FIGHT.
“For me, as a Democrat, the food insecurity of 42 million Americans is at the core of the types of people that we really need to protect. And now, every union that’s been involved with the shutdown, you know, they’re all saying this has to end,” Fetterman said. he said.
“You know, if we’re fighting for working families, why don’t we just agree with them and do it?” he asked.

“Socialism may take over New York City tomorrow, but that’s certainly not the future of my party,” Fetterman argued. “And remind people that New York City’s politics are not a national model.”
He added, “I know, and I love a lot of people who voted for the president. And now it keeps you honest. I remember there are two sides, and I remember you have to find a way forward.”
