Meghan Markle turned heads on Thursday evening when she stepped out in New York with Prince Harry to attend an awards ceremony where they were honored for their humanitarian work. The Duchess of Sussex received an award for her charitable work at the Healthy Minds Project Gala.

Meghan looked dapper in a black Giorgio Armani suit, black shoes and the fashion house’s signature handbag, a tribute to the designer who passed away last September at the age of 91. She completed her look with a chunky gold necklace, diamond earrings and a messy ponytail.

But it wasn’t the first time the Duchess wore an Armani costume. Meghan first wore her custom black suit in 2023, when the Sussexes attended the opening of a training facility for veterans in Downtown San Diego with the Navy SEAL Foundation.

Fans made Meghan look brand new in the outfit and praised her for her sartorial choice on social media.

“I’m surprised this is happening again, it looks so ‘fresh’ I thought it was something new,” one user wrote on fashion blogger Royal Fashion Daily’s post.

Another agreed: “Me too!”

During the main event, the Duke of Sussex warned that the impact of social media on children is “one of the most pressing issues of our time”.

Meghan added that the couple often discuss how they will protect their own children, six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lili, as they grow up.

She said: “Like many parents, we are constantly thinking about how to embrace the benefits of technology while protecting ourselves against its dangers.”
