Fiona Bruce remark sparks BBC Question Time bias row | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

BBC viewers have complained on social media about this week’s episode of Question Time, with some describing the series as “unwatchable rubbish”. In the latest episode airing this week, the BBC debate was filmed in Paisley, Scotland. The panel included Stephen Flynn, Anas Sarwar, Russell Findlay, Angela Haggerty and Lord Offord. It has been confirmed as presenter Fiona Bruce’s final show of 2025. He said: “We’re coming back to Macclesfield on January 22nd. So if you live in Macclesfield or surrounding areas and want to come and be part of the audience, check out our website and hopefully we’ll see you there on January 22nd.”

During the programme, Fiona stated that it was a “tough job” as she “struggled to make a point” at the panel. Following the episode’s broadcast, some viewers called for the BBC show to “end” and claimed Fiona Bruce was “biased” in her role as moderator.

Overnight, one person tweeted: “No Fiona Bruce, you’re overworked. Spent an entire hour last week on immigration and here you are again begging for Reform. @Ofcom#bbcqt.”

After the program ended, another person argued about

Another user replied: “I stopped watching three or four years ago, I would turn it on occasionally and then turn it off after a few minutes… it’s unbearable now!”

A third chimed in: “I can’t even watch it. It’s so biased. Where do they find the audience?” A fourth called for an end to the show, saying: “The shows have had their day!”

One person left a positive comment, saying: “#bbcqt this was so exciting! Good night everyone x”, while another said: “Well done Fiona.”

Social media users attacked Fiona after the discussion turned to the issue of immigration during the program. Some viewers at home criticized the program for featuring another Reform representative on the panel.

Viewers and guests also discussed recent reports that one in three primary school children in Glasgow do not speak fluent English.
