Firework believed to be used in Marrickville restaurant arson attack

The shocking CCTV images published by arson Squad detectives show that a man uses what looks like a fireworks to burn the inner Sydney restaurant.

The NSW police appeal to information about the attack they believe to be related to the previous arson event in the Erttalong Beach in Central Coast in August last year.

The Marrickville attack took place on May 30, 2025 just before 1 o’clock, and emergency services responded to a fire reports in the courtyard of a restaurant in Tuohy Lane.

Police investigations revealed that a fireworks were used to burn the fire.

The restaurant was reportedly targeted the night before.

The images from the Marrickville attack indicate that a man came in the restaurant before pouring a kind of accelerator and pulled into the car.

It then throws a explosive that hit a very colorful explosion on the street and then moves away.

The police are now looking for information to find a man they believe that they may have information about both arson attacks.

It is defined by the police as the appearance of the Mediterranean/Middle East such as 185 cm tall and Middle Nature.

The man has black, curly, shoulder -long hair, wearing glasses and used a gray Toyota Hilux at a service station near the Erttalong Beach attack.
