The court was told the attack followed a dispute between two motorcycle groups, ‘The Outlaws’ and ‘The Rock Machine’.

The victims were sitting near the Clock Tower in Coleford on April 5, 2025 when five vehicles arrived and members of The Rock Machine Motorcycle Club attacked them; Some carried weapons such as metal poles, baseball bats and hammers.

Both victims were seriously injured in the attack, and the male victim required hospital treatment.

Judge Richardson said there was a “willingness to confront and engage in violence” and a desire to “ensure the Rock Machine was on top”.

After sentencing, Acting Sergeant Robert Humphreys said: “I am pleased that six men have been jailed after being involved in what can only be described as a calculated and brazenly violent attack.

“I hope this court outcome shows that violence will not be tolerated in Gloucestershire and the police will do all they can to bring criminals to justice.”
