Mike and Zara Tindall may not work for the royal family, but they are one of the most popular couples in the Royal Family. Although they often attend major royal events together, they are not seen on the public stage as much as other royal couples, much to the disappointment of their fans.

But that wasn’t the case last week as Mike and Zara enjoyed a rare date night in London. The couple appeared together at the Beauty Awards in London, where they revealed what their ideal date night would be like.

This was revealed by Mike, 47, who described himself and his wife as “very low-key”.

I’m speaking to the Daily Mail Mike explained that the couple opted for “food, TV and a glass of wine” for date night rather than a fancy event.

The couple also shared their Christmas plans, which will see them spend the big day at Sandringham with the rest of the Royal Family, hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Zara said: “We’re so lucky, Christmas is always amazing. We get to do so many fun things and the venue looks amazing. We’ll see everyone.”

Zara and Mike, who have three children together, also talked about what makes their marriage strong at the event.

Princess Anne’s daughter told The Daily Mail: “We have been together for 21 years.

“Nothing goes your way. In life, you have to accept that. It’s a work in progress.” [but] You have to have fun.”

The couple are believed to be stepping out together on Friday to attend Princess Kate’s carol concert in London.
