Strictly Come Dancing: First celebrity eliminated

The first two contestants faced a definite dance to decide their fate on Sunday night.

Two years ago, Dowden was sincere in the desire to return to the dance track after a diagnosis of breast cancer.

He certainly returned in 2024, but he had to take it in the middle of the series due to an injury.

While talking on Saturday night, he said that it would be “incredible” to win the glittering ball, but he added: “What I’ve learned for the last few years is more important than everything else.”

Addressing Skinner, he said: “As you know, the last three years have been quite difficult for me. As a dancer, I lost all your confidence – but with a big smile and smile, you brought me back to the room with you, and to be honest, thank you.”
