Naidu Expresses Shock over Markapuram Bus Accident; Orders Probe

amaravati: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the road accident that took place near Rayavaram in Markapuram district on Thursday. Many passengers were burned alive in the collision between a dump truck and a private travel bus.
The Prime Minister spoke to officials and asked questions about the accident. He asked the authorities to provide medical aid to the injured. Officials said that the bus belonging to Harikrishna Travels was on its way to Nellore from Nirmal in Telangana when the accident occurred.
Police officials informed the Prime Minister that 20 more people were injured in the accident and that these people were immediately transferred to various hospitals for treatment.
The Prime Minister expressed his concern about information that the death toll may increase. He instructed the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the accident and submit a report.
