Forest watcher injured in wild elephant attack near Athirappilly

A forest observer was wounded on Saturday night because he was attacked by a wild elephant in Pillappara near AthiAppilly.

Subhash. AthiAppil police, CR was chewed by the severe elephant on the road around 20.30. He ran to a private hospital in Chalakudy and was referred to another hospital in Thrissur for further care.

Subhash broke a leg and was subjected to injuries on the upper part of his body. He said that if there was a source and an internal injury in the hospital in Chalakudy, he said.
