Former CSK player makes shocking revelation about R Ashwin’s early IPL days

Ashwin has played in 221 IPL match since its first release in 2009. He founded himself as one of the best yarns in the T20 league and achieved 187 small gates with an average of 30.22, 7.20 economic ratio and 25.2 strike ratio.
Ravichandran Ashwin, one of the best players in Indian cricket history, officially finished his professional career by explaining his retirement from the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the 2025 season of the T20 league, Ashwin represented Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 2025 season and previously retired from the international jack in December 2024 and made his decision before the end of the Border-Gavascar Cup in Australia. At a surprising turn of the events, former CSK player Anirudhha Srikkanth, while saying goodbye to Ashwin IPL jack, explained the interesting details of Ms. Dhoni’s captain. Srikkanth said Dhoni didn’t allow Ashwin to make a bowl at the IPL exit, and then listed him for 13 consecutive matches.

The experienced player was also a member of India, who won the Champions Cup in 2013 and more than 50 World Cups in 2011. However, it was the performance of Ashwin’s really shining test jack because he claimed 537 small gates in 106 games.
