Former LA deputy mayor sentenced to year of probation for bomb threat hoax | Los Angeles
A former member of the Mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass attended a virtual meeting in 2024, while he was sentenced to one -year probation on Monday to call a false bomb threat to the Town Hall.
During the prison hearing at the US Regional Court, Brian K Williams admitted that he had received a call from an unknown man who said he had placed a bomb in the Mobile Phone from the city to the police in October 2024. Prosecutors said that Williams was not previously criminal arrest or conviction.
