SPDCL says there’s no negligence of utility for electrocution

TELANGANA LTD (TGSPDCL) MD. Mosharraf Faruqui visited the place where Five people were killed when Chariot’s Chariot touched with live cables in Ranthapur.
Discom’s local officials and local residents also asked about the accident. Local officials of the energy organization reported that an unused television cable was captured on CMD and fell into the 11kV fire line and then fell into the car with a metal/iron frame allowing the power to be transmitted and led to electric shock. They stated that there was no negligence in some of the Discom officials.
In the accident area, the hill 11 KV line was passing over more than 20 meters from the ground and the fire line was converted into a packed (EU) cable in the past. They accused the television cable between the two buildings on the road for the accident. CMD instructed Habsiuda’s inspector engineer to investigate the accident and present a report.
Meanwhile, local residents besieged TGSPDCL officials and demanded benefit/compensation by gathering slogans against them when the CMD reached the ground with local authorities.
