Former Sky News presenter Dermot Murnaghan reveals he has prostate cancer as he thanks family for ‘monumental love and support’

Newsreader Dermot Murnaghan showed that he was diagnosed with fourth stage prostate cancer today.

‘The fourth stage was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, I am lucky to have an extraordinary medical team, I cannot thank enough – they manage the best possible care with expertise, compassion and sensitivity’ he wrote.

“ I give a positive response to excellent treatments and I feel good. I am happy to be strengthened with the monumental love and support of my wife, family and close friends.
