Fossil fuel companies gave millions to parties before 2025 election

Fossil fuel companies donated nearly $4 million to the Australian Labor Party, the Liberal Party and the National Party during the 2025 federal election, and we’re only just finding out.

Australian Electoral Committee Published the Transparency Register It includes all donations over $16,900 made by individuals and organizations to political parties for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
