Bunbury, Australind men charged over dangerous move at Metallica concert at Optus Stadium

Two men have been accused of carrying out dangerous antics at Metallica’s epic concert at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.

WA Police allege a 20-year-old man from the Bunbury suburb of Carey Park and a 23-year-old man from Australind climbed the center tower inside the stadium during the American band’s two-hour set.

The two were summoned to court at a later date on trespassing charges.

Metallica kicked off their M72 world tour in front of 60,000 fans in Perth, where they played 16 classic hits from the 1980s and 90s, as well as some later material.

The ranges have eclipsed the beer keg queues as the Braves searched for special edition black swan themed Perth concert t-shirts.

This was Metallica’s sixth trip to WA and the first time they performed at the demolished Entertainment Center in Perth in 1993.
