Four shot in Birmingham nightclub Mango as three arrested

A man is in a critical state and three more people were injured in a nightclub in Birmingham.

Three people in their 20s and 30s were arrested on suspicion of violence in connection with fire while the investigation continued.
West Midlands police said that the suspects were in a car in the M6 in Warwickshire and were detained.
Bistol Street, one of the main roads of the city center, was taken under the cordon by the police.

Acting Ch Insp Michael Clarke objected to everyone who had information about the shooting to apply to West Midlands police.
“This was in one of the main roads of Birmingham in a busy nightclub, so it is very important that we hear from anyone who sees what happened or captured in Dashcam as it passes.” He said.
“If you were in the club at that time and you saw what happened, or if you had recorded any image from the space, we should hear from you urgently.”
