Police investigating after body found on side of Goldfields Highway near Roberts Street in Kalgoorlie-Boulder

Police launched an investigation after the body of a man was found alongside the Goldfields Highway in Kalgoorlie-Boulder on Friday morning.

Emergency services attended the scene on the motorway near the Roberts Street junction after the deceased was found just before 10am.

Kalgoorlie Miner saw police searching woodland in the area.

Police said officers have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
