Minister Donald Trump and New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani are not on the ballot next year, but they are in the political spotlight in New York State’s 2026 gubernatorial race.
Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik connected with Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul in her first interview since announcing her candidacy for governor on Friday. To MamdaniThe 34-year-old socialist state lawmaker won the New York City mayoral election on Tuesday.
During an appearance on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” Stefanik pointed to Mamdani, whom she claimed was “an angry anti-Semite, pro-Hamas communist who wanted to raise taxes,” and accused “Kathy Hochul of supporting her and kneeling down.”READ MORE.
