FPL tips for gameweek 16: Captain Bukayo Saka and go all in on Arsenal v Wolves

Bukayo Saka (captain), Arsenal£10.2m – Wolves (hours)

This match against Wolves is too exciting to pass up and that makes Saka, Arsenal’s best attacker, indispensable.

There is no need for statistics to support this. Manchester United had 27 shots against Wolves on Monday, scoring four goals, and could have had double that.

Arsenal will be licking their lips.

Declan Rice, Arsenal£7.1m – Wolves (hours)

Rice, who is one point behind Bruno Fernandes in the midfield scoring list, has been very consistent for Arsenal.

He has become the more attacking player this season, has created more chances than any other Arsenal player (27) and has five assists to do so.

He is also the most reliable for minutes as Mikel Arteta may see this as a chance to change his squad.

Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United£9 million – Bournemouth (hour)

Fernandes could replace Antoine Semenyo as the FPL’s primary midfielder.

Match proof, always a shout for defensive contribution points (defcon) and multiple paths to points.

Cole Palmer, Chelsea£10.3 million – Everton (H)

This week’s punter Palmer has the first 90 minutes under his belt after a long injury break and we know what an explosive FPL presence he can be.

You get the feeling that as soon as he has a good game, FPL managers will flock to book him.

He missed Chelsea’s Champions League defeat at Atalanta but his minutes were managed by the club so he should be ready for Everton.

Dango Ouattara, Brentford£6 million – Leeds (hour)

Leeds come into this game on the back of two excellent home results against Chelsea and Liverpool, but have conceded three goals for every away goal they have scored.

This is probably Ouattara’s last match before heading to the Africa Cup of Nations.

He has been excellent for Brentford this season, producing five attacking performances in their last three home games.
