HM Suspended For Skipping Poll Duty

NIZAMABAD: District election officer and collector Ila Tripathi on Wednesday ordered the suspension of Armoor Zilla Parishad Girls High School principal Vanaja Reddy for not attending election duties. As part of the municipal election process, Vanaja Reddy was appointed as returning officer (RO) of wards 4, 5 and 6 in Armoor. However, he reportedly did not attend election functions without prior permission. The matter was brought to the notice of the district election officer and collector by Armoor sub-collector Abhigyan Malviya.

Considering this lapse of time seriously, the collector issued an order suspending the headmistress for neglecting her election duties.
