From J&K to Gujarat: Anti-terror raids bust JeM network, recover explosives and weapons across five states

According to the press release, 2,921 kilograms of explosives were seized in a joint operation by Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana Police. The investigation, which started on October 19 after objectionable posters of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) emerged, has so far led to several arrests in many states.
Those detained include Arif Nisar, Yasir-ul-Ashraf, Maqsood, Maulvi Irfan Ahmed Wage from Shopian, Zameer Ahmed from Ganderbal, Dr Muzamil from Al-Falah Medical College, Faridabad and Dr Adeel from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, during subsequent raids, an AK-56 rifle, pistols and gunpowder were seized from Anantnag Hospital and Al-Falah Medical College. On November 9-10, authorities arrested Madarsi from Dhauj in Faridabad and unearthed 2,563 kg of explosives at the house of Hafeez Mohammad Ishtiaq, imam of Al-Falah Mosque in Mewat.
Moreover, investigations show that the network has links to white-collar operatives affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH). The case was handed over to national security agencies for further investigation, the press release said.
Raids in Gujarat, UP and Rajasthan
Also, the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested two youths from Uttar Pradesh and a doctor from Hyderabad for their alleged links with Pakistan-based terrorists. Investigators revealed that the suspects received weapons and fake documents from India via Pakistani drones. The defendants were also establishing a domestic logistics network to assist terrorist organizations with supplies and shelter.
In Rajasthan, the state ATS arrested Maulvi Osama Umar from Sanchore area of Jalore district on November 7 for his alleged links with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Authorities also said Umar had been radicalizing young people online for four years and maintained contact with foreign contacts.
Additionally, many digital devices and incriminating evidence were seized from the suspect.
