Group captain Shubhanshu Shukla will return to Earth on Tuesday and concludes Axiom Space’s historic mission under the AX-4 program. The return is a proud moment for India and an important step in the increasing presence of the country in global space research.
Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla became the first Indian to reach the International Space Station (ISS).
Here are the key points of Shubhanshu Shukla’s ISS trip:
1- After a 18 -day accommodation in the Orbital Laboratory, Shukla and three international crews will jump to the Pacific Ocean on the coast of California at 15:01 (4:31 am).
2- Shukla, astronauts Peggy Whitson (USA), Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski (Poland) and Tibor Kapu (Hungary), SpaceX’s dragon spacecraft “Grace” on Monday 3:30 ct (2 pm ist).
3- The spacecraft was opened at 16:45 (07:15 meat) from the ISS’s harmonious module.
4- NASA confirmed that the cover closure took place at EDT 5: 07 and that SpaceX announced a short time after the social media platform X announced the “Dragon Separation”.
“Dragon is going out of the space station,” Spacex explained in an article.
“Dragon separation has been approved!” The shipment has been added.
5- This points to the completion of a return journey of about 23 hours to Earth.
6- It will be taken by the crew rescue teams on the splashdown, and Shubhanshu Shukla will start a 7 -day rehabilitation protocol to re -adjust the Earth to gravity.
7- Shubhanshu Shukla’s mission initially lasted 14 days, but was extended to 18. This allowed additional scientific research and collaborative studies at the station.
8- In a touching farewell message of orbit, Shukla described his experience as a “incredible journey ve and expressed deep gratitude to ISRO, NASA, Axiom Space and SpaceX. “India still looks better than the world,” he said.
9- The live scope of the event will be broadcast on Axiom Space’s official X Hands and NASA’s Youtube channel.
10- “Welcome back Shubhanshu! The whole nation is enthusiasticly returning home after the success of #Axiom4 is solved by the success of #Axiom4.”
On Sunday, the group captain Shubhanshu Shukla made a farewell speech from ISS and said, “Aaj Ka Bharat Abhi Bhi Saare Jahaan Se Acha Dikhta Hai” (Today’s India is still more magnificent than the world).
Shubhanshu Shukla’s participation in the Axiom-4 mission made him the second Indian astronaut traveling into space following the 1984 mission of Rakesh Sharma.
