From schools to offices – Know what’s closed, what’s open in Mumbai today
It is expected that schools and colleges in most of Mumbai will remain open and function according to the program.
Mumbai, days after encountering Monsoon fur, on Wednesday experienced some relief from heavy rains. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted normal rainfall for the day, while relaxation is likely to continue on Thursday.
Most of Mumbai schools and colleges are expected to remain open and work according to the plan. The local train of the city continued regular operations and gave some response to the vehicles. As the city slowly returned to normal life, offices reopened on Wednesday, and banks and stores return to routine life.
However, due to heavy rains, the Lonavala Municipal Council declared a holiday for all schools today. All primary, secondary and upper secondary schools within the boundaries of the Council are subject to order, regardless of the management or education style.
