This weekend (March 15) is Mother’s Day and there’s never been a better time to spoil the woman who raised you. But you don’t have to break the bank to do this. Restaurants are offering free food and drinks to mothers this Sunday.
Mums can get a free meal at select BrewDoglocations when you pre-book a table for Sunday and select the ‘mums eat free’ option. Japanese restaurant Yo! is also offering mums a free regular Katsu Curry (chicken, pumpkin or prawn) when you spend £15 from 9 March to 15 March. This is not available at airports or locations in Belfast and Leeds. Cinnamon Collection, a high-end Indian chain, will foot moms’ bill with a free entrée on Sunday. There are participating restaurants in London and Oxford. MASH (Modern American Steak House) is offering free meals to moms at its Soho restaurant on Sunday at tables occupied by at least three paying adults.
Diners at Beefeater, which has steak restaurants across the UK, can get their mothers a free three-course meal from the Mother’s Day menu or a free main course from the regular menu.
To be eligible, you must receive a discount code by signing up for Beefeater’s marketing emails. Free dining is only valid for parties with at least one adult with the same value meal.
Upscale dessert chain Heavenly Desserts said moms will get free meals all day when another customer orders a brunch or main dessert.
Other restaurants offer free drinks on Sunday; Bella Italia is offering a free Aperol Spritz or soft drink, Las Iguanas is offering a free margarita, and Brown’s Brasserie is offering a free glass of champagne and a bunch of daffodils when you make a reservation on their app and purchase an entrée.
Other restaurants offering the offer include Castle Pubs (free glass of Moet in selected locations), Flaming Grills (free gin and tonic), San Carlo (free glass of champagne when table spends £20 per person), Chiquito (free glass of fizz or margarita), Wildwood (free Berry Spritz or glass of Prosecco) and TGI Friday’s (free cocktail when table is booked in advance and a main course is purchased).
Also joining the festivities is Prezzo, where mums can get a free glass of Prosecco and a £10 voucher towards their next visit. If you book a table before 11.30am on Sunday, each adult in the party will receive a free glass.
Other spots offer free desserts, including Frankie & Benny’s, Miller & Carter (free starter or dessert for mom at table of more than three) and Sizzling Pubs (free lemon and raspberry mousse with main course when table is booked in advance and voucher used).
Bill’s lets moms roll the dice and win a free glass of rosé or dessert with the purchase of a main course.
