‘Fully Committed’: India Reiterates Push To Bring Back Wanted Fugitives | India News

India said on Friday it remains fully committed to bringing back those who are fugitives and wanted by law in India so that they can be tried in the country’s courts.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at a press briefing: “We are fully committed to the return of wanted persons who are illegally illegal in India. We are in talks with various governments for this and processes are ongoing. There are various legal regulations involved, but we remain committed to bringing them back to the country so that they can be tried in the courts here.”
