Game Of Thrones Actor Michael Patrick Dies At 35

Los AngelesIrish actor Michael Patrick, known for his work on stage and screen, including his performance in the TV series ‘Game of Thrones’, died at the age of 35. His wife, Naomi Sheehan, announced in her post on Instagram that he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2023. According to the post, Michael Patrick was hospitalized and treated 10 days ago, and then passed away peacefully in the presence of his family and friends.
“Words cannot express how heartbroken we are. It has been said over and over again that Mick was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of coming into contact with him, not just over the last few years during his illness, but every day of his life. He lived as full a life as one can live. Joy, abundance, infectious laughter. Like a red-headed giant,” he added. Expressing her gratitude in her post, Sheehan recalled her late husband’s favorite quote. He continued, “We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us over the last few years. Mick loved this quote from Brendan Behan and it feels so apt right now: ‘The most important things to do in the world are find something to eat, something to drink and someone to love you.’ So don’t think too much. Eat. Drink. Love. “Naomi is Mick’s wife.” The ‘Game of Thrones’ actor’s last social media post was shared on February 6, where he announced that he was “1 year away.” “There’s still a lot to happen and a lot planned,” he wrote in one episode.
