Yash to Skip Fan Meet on 40th Birthday, Says He Is Fully Immersed in Finishing Toxic

Mumbai: Actor Yash shared that he will not be meeting his fans on his 40th birthday on Thursday, January 8. On Wednesday, Yash updated his fans on his Instagram Story and revealed that he is busy working on his upcoming film ‘Toxic’. In the statement, Yash expressed that he understands how much his fans are looking forward to meeting him and how much he misses them. He also revealed that he wanted to meet his fans on his birthday but was unable to do so as he was “completely engrossed in work” to ensure the film was ready on time. He also promised fans that they would soon meet “in a much bigger way” and assured them that he would personally read all their birthday wishes.

“I am truly aware of how you have been waiting to meet me for the last few years. Believe me, I have been wanting to see you all so badly. I really wanted it to happen on my birthday this year, but I am completely engrossed in finishing the film to make sure it is ready for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026. So, I am yet to meet you in person,” Yash wrote. “Even though we can’t make it happen now, I promise to make it up to you. We will meet in a much bigger way very soon. In the meantime, I will personally consider all your wishes and cherish every ounce of love you send,” he added.

‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Adults’ was written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas. Besides Yash, the film also stars Huma Kureshi, Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani and Nayanthara in important roles. Toxic marks Yash’s return to the big screen after ‘KGF: Chapter 2’. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, ‘Toxic’ will release in theaters on March 19, 2026.
