Gaza protest targets Venice film festival, as Yemen’s Houthi leader reported dead in Israeli strike
Israel and the US forces, the missiles and drones from Yemen – the most – though not all – prevented. In July 2024, a Houthi drone attack, which did not trigger any warning warning to Tel Aviv, stressed Israel’s vulnerability against drones.
Earlier this year, after an intense bombing campaign by the US and Israel, Houthis reached the ceasefire with Washington. However, Yemen -based militias continued to launch missiles and drones towards Israel, and in return, retaliation with key energy infrastructure, ports and other targets associated with Houthi.

Thousands of people walked on Saturday (Venice Time) to protest Gaza at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, attended by stars such as Julia Roberts, George Clooney and Emma Stone.
New York Times And other media organizations reported that the crowds were gathered on Lido Barrier Island for a walk from Piazza Santa Maria Elisabetta to Palazzo del cinema.
The protest was coordinated by Venya4Palestine, an organization of Italian and international film professionals who issued a clear letter with hundreds of signatures that demanded the destruction and pain of the festival’s military campaign in Gaza last weekend last weekend.
