In the video, Uthaiah states that his days are starting to get repetitive and work is no longer keeping him busy. He also says he finds his job “so boring” that he “can’t do it anymore”, adding that he turned down higher education opportunities abroad because he didn’t want to follow an unsatisfying path.
He says he has been accepted to two Australian universities but will not pursue this further because he does not want to follow the same cycle of study to go to work. He says he’s going to quit his job and start working on content creation and see how it goes.
He states that he had around ten thousand followers on Instagram at the time of filming. As of the date of writing this article, the number of followers has increased to twenty-three thousand five hundred.
The video sparked discussion about workplace burnout, job dissatisfaction and the increasing number of young professionals rethinking traditional career structures. One user wrote that one cannot reach a new place or become a new person unless one leaves behind where one is now and who one is. Another user said that this feeling of tiredness could be due to the cold weather of Bengaluru and suggested that she relax before making a decision.
Aanshul Uthaiah recently posted a video announcing that he quit his job on Tuesday, stating that his manager, who told him that he would return in ten minutes, has not yet returned and his resignation is still in doubt.
