GHMC Receives 122 Plaints at Prajavani

Hyderabad:The Prajavani program held at GHMC offices on Monday received 172 complaints. The exercise was stopped due to the Jubilee Hills by-election. Most of the complaints were related to issues such as illegal construction, road restoration and cleaning requests. The Hyderabad collective received 161 applications. Of these, 99 were looking for housing, the rest were related to the pension and income department.

MHSRB, 1.284 II. Class published the selection list for the laboratory technician position

Hyderabad: Medical and Healthcare Recruitment Board (MHSRB) has announced that 1,284 II. has released the selection notification for the post of class laboratory technician. Of the 24,045 applicants, 23,323 applied for CBT. Based on CBT scores, service weight age of contract and outsourced employees in government healthcare institutions and verification of certificates, 1,260 candidates were provisionally selected from three departments.

The Board noted that two positions under the Hearing Impaired (HH) category could not be filled due to unavailability of suitable candidates. Four posts remained vacant due to ongoing litigation in the Supreme Court.

Merit list and selection list for esteemed athletes will be published separately in 18 posts.

Health minister Damodar Rajanrasimha said the selection of laboratory technicians was in support of state health institutions. He said more than 9,000 positions have been filled in the last two years alone and the recruitment process for more than 7,000 positions is currently ongoing.

The minister noted that the government has prioritized staffing key roles, including doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, pharmacists and other key technical and support staff, to strengthen the public health system.

ECI removes MCC at Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad: The model code of conduct (MCC) for the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency bypoll was removed on Monday on the orders of the Election Commission of India (ECI). The law came into effect at 4 pm on October 6 in Hyderabad region, which covers 15 Assembly constituencies.

Government Revises Cooking Cost Under PM Sop

Hyderabad: The government revised the cost of cooking under the PM Poshan scheme and increased the daily amount from Rs 6.19 to Rs 6.78 for Bal Vatika and primary classes and from Rs 9.29 to Rs 10.17 for upper primary school students. The order also updates the cost of classes IX and X from Rs 11.79 to Rs 13.17 including Rs 3 for egg.

According to the school education department, the rates will be applicable as per the Union government’s norms so that the expenditure will be kept within the available funds. The funding scheme is as usual, 60 percent comes from the Center and 40 percent comes from the state.
