Gig workers demand minimum wages, legal recognition

On Friday, the Union of TaLangana Concert and Platform Workers (TGPWU) called on the government government to provide minimum wage, legal recognition and comprehensive welfare plans for concert and platform workers.
The demands were brought to the agenda during a stakeholder’s consultation meeting, announced that Vivek Venkataswamy, the Minister of Employment and Employment, has been prepared for a welfare board and a comprehensive policy for platform -based concert workers.
TGPWU members, the basic demands put forward, drivers and delivery partners, such as the minimum wage guarantee for all concerts, as well as welfare provisions to ensure the scope of registration and legal recognition, he said. The union also called for a trilateral committee with algorithmic transparency and workers, government and companies.
“When we say Shaik Salauddin from TGPWU, when we say a minimum wage, it means that there should be a minimum amount for each trip. Each concert work is different in nature.”
